Sacred Falls, located in Koolauloa, Hawaii, was once a popular hiking destination known for its majestic waterfall and swimming pool at the end of a challenging trail through a slot canyon. Many hikers who visited in the 1980s and early 1990s recall the breathtaking beauty of the falls and the spiritual significance of these sacred grounds. Unfortunately, due to multiple tragic incidents involving flash floods and falling rocks that resulted in fatalities, the area is now permanently closed to the public for safety reasons.
